Bonanza to Orcas
It is cold and windy on this Saturday and it is not yet certain whether we will be able to make the whale safari tomorrow. But then in the evening the news from the Arctic Whale Tours team, yes it should be possible.
We left on Sunday on time for Bleik.
After about 2 hours we suddenly heard "Orcas" and were in the middle of a group of orcas. They were hunting and we could watch the spectacle in all calmness. I tried as best I could to compensate for the movement of the ship, which was not easy in the freshening wind.
We were to follow the orcas and stay with them until another whale safari boat arrived from Andenes. This, of course, gave us the opportunity to observe the animals for a long time.

Il fait froid et il y a du vent ce samedi et il n'est pas encore certain que nous puissions faire le safari baleine demain. Mais ensuite, dans la soirée, les nouvelles de l'équipe d'Arctic Whale Tours, oui cela devrait être possible.
Nous sommes partis le dimanche à l'heure pour Bleik.
Après environ 2 heures, nous avons soudainement entendu "Orcas" et nous étions au milieu d'un groupe d'orques. Ils étaient en train de chasser et nous avons pu regarder le spectacle en toute tranquillité. J'ai essayé du mieux que j'ai pu de compenser le mouvement du navire, ce qui n'était pas facile dans le vent qui fraîchissait.
Nous devions suivre les orques et rester avec elles jusqu'à ce qu'un autre bateau de safari baleine arrive d'Andenes. Cela nous a bien sûr donné l'occasion d'observer les animaux de manière très étendue.
Dans l'ensemble, une expérience vraiment impressionnante. Un grand merci à l'équipe d'Arctic Whale Tours et surtout à Hannaleena.

Es ist kalt und windig an diesem Samstag und es steht noch nicht fest, ob wir morgen die Walsafarie machen können. Doch dann am Abend die Nachricht vom Arctic Whale Tours Team, ja es sollte möglich sein.
Es ging am Sonntag pünktlich Richtung Bleik los.
Nach ca. 2 Stunden hiess es plötzlich "Orcas" und wir waren in Mitten einer Gruppe Orcas. Sie waren bei der Jagd und wir konnten dem Schauspiel in aller Ruhe zu sehen. Ich versuchte so gut es ging die Bewegung des Schiffes auszugleichen, was bei dem auffrischenden Wind nicht einfach war.
Wir sollten den Orkas folgen und so lange bei Ihnen bleiben, bis ein weiteres Walsafarieboot aus Andenes eintrifft. Was uns natürlich die Gelegenheit gab die Tiere ausgiebig zu beobachten.
Alles in Allem ein wirklich beeindruckendes Erlebnis. Vielen Dank ans Arctic Whale Tours Team und speziell an Hannaleena.
