Surfacing from the fog

This morning I wanted to test a new spot - the Valée de Van. A steep wall several metres high in the Jura.

I arrived at 6h00, there was dense fog and I went on an exploration tour. After 2 hours, the curtain of fog lifted and I saw a group of capricorns with cubs.

You can't see it in the last photo but it's over 100m vertically downhill. They do not know fear.

The disadvantage of this spot is that there are a lot of tourists, as you can easily drive right up to the wall.

Ce matin, j'ai voulu tester un nouveau spot - la Valée de Van. Une paroi raide de plusieurs hauteurs dans le Jura.

Je suis arrivé à 6h00, il y avait un épais brouillard et j'ai fait un tour d'exploration. Après 2 heures, le rideau de brouillard s'est levé et j'ai vu un groupe de bouquetins avec des petits.

Sur la dernière photo, on ne le voit pas mais il fait plus de 100 m de descente verticale. Ils ne connaissent pas la peur.

L'inconvénient de cet endroit, c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de touristes, car on peut facilement se rendre en voiture presque jusqu'au mur.

Heute morgen wollte ich einen neuen Spot testen - das Valée de Van. Eine mehrere hohe Steilwand im Jura.

Ich kam um 6h00 an, es war dichter Nebel und ich begab mich auf eine Erkundungstour. Nach 2 Stunden lichtete sich der Nebelvorhang und ich sah eine Gruppe Steinböcke mit Jungen.

Auf dem letzten Foto kann man es nicht erkennen aber es geht über 100m senkrecht bergab. Angst kennen sie nicht.

Der Nachteil von diesem Spot, es gibt viele Touristen, da man mit dem Auto bequem bis fast an die Wand heranfahren kann.
